Waqf is a pivotal Islamic philanthropic tradition that had historically longstanding achievement in bringing Muslim prosperity and welfare. However, this tradition is now almost idle in the Muslim society. ICAST is a strategic attempt to revive such a tradition through modern method of education in response to current economic challenges.
